The simplest way to tell if you have a bed bug problem is the appearance of bite marks. If you or a family member wakes up with bite marks on the arms, legs, face, or any other part of the body that was exposed while sleeping, you may want to think about bed bug treatment. However, as some people do not show any symptoms of being bit, there are other ways to spot a problem. Finding live bugs or exoskeletons in or around the bed or seeing rust or blood-colored spots on the bedding or mattress which is actually bed bug excrement.
