Universal Studios tickets can be tailored to your vacation plans with combo and multiday tickets for kids and adults. Extra features are available that may add to the price tag but come with generous benefits. Buying your tickets in advance from a trusted ticket broker will save you time during your trip and money you can add back into your budget.

Child or Adult Tickets

Theme parks have an entirely different scale for what is considered an “adult.” Children’s tickets are good for guests from three to nine, while adult tickets are required for visitors 10 and older. Other than age restrictions, the tickets you will need to purchase depend entirely on what you want to do and see during your stay.

Universal Studios Tickets, Islands of Adventure, Wet ‘n Wild or All Three

A variety of tickets are available to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Wet ‘n Wild or all three parks. It’s very important to read the details of any ticket you purchase, however, because the wording may limit which parks you can visit and when. For examples, a ticket labeled “Universal or IOA” tends to mean you can use it to visit either Universal or Islands of Adventure, not both. Tickets labeled, “Universal and IOA” or “Universal + IOA + Wet ‘n Wild” are needed to visit every park listed on the ticket.

Park to Park Tickets

Many visitors to Universal Studios buy “Park to Park” tickets so they can visit all the parks on their ticket in the same day. This is especially handy if a day starts out gloomy and then gets hot, allowing for time in the water. “Park to Park” tickets give you the flexibility you need to make the most of your vacation days. These come in a variety of combinations, just like base tickets, which allow you to visit one park each day. Generally, the convenience of being able to switch parks based on weather, crowds or ride selection is worth the small fee associated with adding this feature.

Time Limits on Tickets

Unlike many other theme parks, multiple day tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days. Most tickets expire in 14 days, whether they’re two-day passes or greater. Universal Studios tickets also give visitors several days of access to Universal’s entertainment area, CityWalk. The number of days you’ll have access depends on whether you have a base ticket for one park, a combo ticket or the “Park to Park” option.
