These include 2324 and 2124, alloys that each have slightly different characteristics but are higher in purity and prayer and strength. Applications

Alclad forms are useful for fuselage skins in both commercial and military aircraft. Some aircraft engine parts are commonly manufactured with 2024 aluminum.

The concept behind alclad aluminum sheet or plate is that of pure aluminum surrounding a particular alloy on both sides. It is akin to an aluminum sandwich. The product which has 2024 in the middle of the alclad provides excellent strength she resistance, and rigidity to complement well with the characteristics of the outer layers.
